Who We Are
The Kansas City Estate Planning Symposium (KCEPS) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, comprised of professionals from a variety of companies and disciplines who work in all aspects of trust and estate planning. The organization mirrors the community we serve. It is made up of industry professionals such as business and tax attorneys; CFPs® and financial planners; charitable organizations; CPAs; estate planning attorneys; life underwriters, planned giving professionals; trust officers and others allied to the field.
The common thread running through the organization is that these individuals are actively involved in all aspects of estate planning and have found in KCEPS the opportunity to learn and grow in the profession, while better serving their clients.
KCEPS plays host to three signature educational events annually:
- The Kansas City Intermediate Estate Planning Program (typically held in January)
- The Kansas City Estate Planning Symposium (typically held late April or early May)
- The Kansas City Fundamentals of Estate Planning Program (typically held in October)
